I guess I am trying several things on "for size"... to see how they fit me.
And today, I realize that I need to be thankful.
Son #1 just called me and told me that he got his orders... he will be stationed in the city where he is now, and he will probably be deployed in January.
"At least I'll be home for Christmas," he said.
"Yes, and I am grateful for that," I said.
So today, I choose to be thankful for every moment I have with my family - the good, the bad, the ugly.... because those moments quickly become too few, and all too precious.

Yes, it is hard to have to let go of our children...You are doing right to enjoy every day that you have with your precious family.

Be blessed today and always...
Hi Angela,
Please thank both of your sons for serving our country. And hubby as well. It is such a great sacrifice.
Thanks for sharing with me about menu planning. I would love to make only one grocery trip a month. That would be awesome!
Have a great week-your menu looks gopd too!
What a good reminder to us all to give thanks in all circumstances. Thank you to your sons for serving our country. I appreciate their sacrifice. I can only imagine as a mother how difficult it must be for you and how proud you must feel.
