I must say that posting our meals every day really helped me to keep track of exactly what was happening. Lunchtime in the summer is always a weak spot; my man loves to eat lunch out, and I think it's not going to change. A girl can try, right?
We will probably continue our challenge into August, so I think I'll keep posting our meals. When we go back to work, we'll all be taking lunch every day, so that will cut down on our eating out.
For this week:
Monday~ "B" day. After the braces go on, we'll go wherever ds wants to eat lunch (probably Moe's). For dinner, mac 'n' cheese.
Tuesday~ planning noodles or baked potato for my boy; for dinner, tomato soup. I'm trying a gazpacho recipe for hubby & me.
Wednesday~ lunch will be chicken noodle soup from Chick-fil-A for ds and a wrap for me; for dinner, breakfast with grits, eggs, and bacon.
Thursday~ ds & I plan to take lunch to my mom; for dinner, mashed potatoes, meatballs with brown gravy, and a salad for hubs & me.
Friday~ scheduled school shopping with my mom and grandmother, so we'll probably be eating out. I'll put something in the crockpot for dinner. Hopefully ds will feel like chewing something today!
Saturday~ for lunch, LEFTOVERS!! Gotta clean out those bits and pieces. For dinner, I'm going to try to convince hubby to grill - it's been too hot, but maybe he'll give in. ;)
